THH Motocross Helmet Unlike cruisers, motocross bikes are not known for their chrome shine, but that doesn't mean the riders can't embrace their kinship with the road bikes. THH makes a motocross helmet with a chrome shine that expresses a common love of polished metal.

A clear-coat, scratch-resistant surface adds to the metallic illusion and the blue flame design follows the flash and color of motocross. The flame pattern is somewhat generic, but far from unsightly.

Looks aren't everything, so this helmet is DOT approved and has a thermoplastic alloy shell to keep your brain box safe. At around $50, you'd think you weren't getting much, but THH helmets are well reviewed among riders for their comfort, fit, and excellent ventilation.

Fit is a huge factor when you consider the safety of your helmet. A helmet that fits too loosely will leave your head to bounce around upon impact. If a helmet is too tight you'll be uncomfortable and discomfort can be distracting. Out on the dirt, where you need to be able to react in an instant, you don't want to be thinking about how sore your face is.

The price is definitely the biggest selling point for this helmet. If you want to spend more, there are companies of varying quality that will gladly take your money, but this is an acceptable helmet for very little cash.
