Scorpio SR-i900 Motorcycle Alarm There is little more annoying than someone failing to turn off their alarm and letting us all be serenaded by the electronic howling of a security system that falsely believes itself to be in some kind of peril. It's annoying for spectators, but embarrassing for the rider who is now seen playing with a key fob, trying to shut the thing up.

Most of the time when theft alarms start blaring, the situation has less to do with malice and more to do with bad technology. The SR-i900 from Scorpio uses RFID, so as long as you carry your remote, your alarm will know it's you and shut itself off.

Little features like the RFID system are often what stand out, because they make the use of the technology so much easier. But this alarm system has a lot more to offer. Winner of 2 Wheel Tuner's 2006 "BRAPPY" for the most innovative engineering and design, the SR-i900 uses high frequency FM signals to send and receive commands from up to 1/2 mile away.

The SR-i900 uses a dual-axis digital sensing microprocessor to sense impact and angle changes regardless of mount position. The unit is not only weatherproof, it is hermetically sealed to withstand heat, vibration, and passes a 10-foot submersion test.

Now you know that the SR-i900 is smart and tough, but it is an alarm after all, so it will emit a 125 dB, multi-tone siren when it's needed most. You have control over the duration and tone. This unit meets OEM specifications, and you can purchase an optional factory connector kit to make the alarm a simple plug-in installation.
