Xena XN15 Bike Alarm I'm not an especially possession-oriented individual. I've had things stolen from me and it's annoying, but nothing that I'd get all up in arms about. There are, however, a couple things in my life that would send me on a rampage if they came up missing: my computer, and my bike.

To protect your bike, Xena carries an assortment of security systems. My personal favorite is their disk lock system. The XN15 lock, specifically, is designed to better fit streetbike disks. It is similar to the XN14, but the longer body makes it more flexible and functional.

There are few security systems that provide the convenience of Xena's XN15. The lock itself is tiny, only 4.4 cm high and 10.2 cm long. It clamps onto the disk with a double-action locking, 14 mm carbide-reinforced pin. The body of the lock is corrosion-resistant stainless steel and will hold up well and function in any weather. It's even tough enough to withstand ice spray, which is used to break cheaper locks.

If someone jostles your bike at all, you'll be alerted with a 110 dB alarm. The alarm is activated by movement or shock, but will reset itself in 15 seconds if the threat stops. You'll never be that rider who has to get up because their bike alarm is bothering the whole neighborhood after some poor sap wanted to impress her boyfriend by sitting on the bike. The reset is necessary, because the arming mechanism is pretty sensitive.

Aside from being as easy to use as a padlock, the XN15 won't stand out. Unless you're looking for the lock, you won't see it. Viewers will be able to enjoy the appearance of your machine uninterrupted by a big ugly security system. This is ideal for shows.
