BBR Cradle Frame Minibikes serve two purposes: to make young, wide-eyed, daydreaming kids worship the parents who actually bought them a freaking dirt bike, or to make full-grown adults giggle like school girls as they ride their hopped-up toy around their backyard track with the guys from the office. Either way, BBR is pretty much the Franklin Mint of minibike accessories. With more unique and purpose-built hop-ups for just about every playbike in existence, the company leads the way in innovation and quality.

BBR's cradle frame for the Yamaha TTR125 is just one example of those purpose-built parts. Playbikes have certain limitations. Since they were not built to be full-blown race bikes, they are not designed to take all the abuse of their larger counterparts. If Junior starts jumping, or if Dad's Cheeto-filled gut leaves the ground at all, the frame's engine mounting tabs will eventually stretch if the bike repeatedly bottoms out. The frame cradle takes care of that by reinforcing the strength of the bike's frame. The added reinforcement is more than enough to take the added abuse that comes with increased speed and/or weight.

Installation is a breeze, as it simply attaches to the downtube and rear lower part of the frame. New mounting hardware is included, and the unit is a nice anodized blue or gold. The cradle also protects the engine cases from rock and root damage if you decide to take the bike out on the trails. All in all, this is a very useful product that will actually extend the life of your ride.
