Answer Fazer Motocross Boots Answer's Fazer boots are not for light riding. Fashioned for the unique hazards of off-road adventures, the functionality of the design leaves them with a powerful appearance.

Riding track and trail is dirty and demanding on your feet. A two-stage plastic buckle system wraps protective panels across the shins like the tawny tendons they protect. Fazer boot straps are positioned around the foot, ankle, and shin to create a tight, yet adjustable, fit for riders of varied construct.

Polyurethane plastic, leather, and lots of padding make these boots strong and safe. Some riders say Answer went overboard and made the boot too dense, reducing the rider's feel for shifting. Another quirk: The Fazer boot sizes seem to run large. I recommend checking Answer's size chart prior to purchase, as you'll likely be buying a size smaller than your usual fit.

Fazer boots provide excellent impact protection, but impact is not the only hazard to an off-road rider. Answer has fitted Fazer footwear with exterior calf heat shielding, so you will not be left with discolored oblong scars from your exhaust system.

Answer offers a decent boot with excellent coverage in their Fazer. If, however, you want a boot with a softer toe to provide more feel for shifting, you will want to look elsewhere. The plastic buckles could be more robust, but these boots are a bargain. If you're on a budget, or just cheap, these are a proper track and trail boot for around $100.
