Tourmaster Caliber Mens MotorcycleIf you've ever stopped for the sole purpose of pouring the water out of your boots, then you know the value of good raingear. If you've never had that experience, then you may just be smarter than the rest of us, or, you were well-advised at some point. Either way, keeping out water and wind makes riding (and arriving) much more pleasant, and the Tour Master Caliber overpant is one way of providing to that end.

The Caliber's outer is made from Carbolex, a carbon nano-tube construct which is light, strong, and abrasion-resistant. There's stretchy stuff in the waistband and accordion-style expansion panels above the knees and at the back of the waist for better fit and flexibility. It has two zippered, waterproof pockets. The side-entry leg zippers make it easy to put on and take off over what you're wearing underneath. The piping on the outer leg is Phoslite reflective material, just enough to make you slightly more visible.

This pant also comes with a removable quilted liner, for those colder rides. You can purchase the matching jacket as well, and the Caliber will zip into it. Or take the included zipper to a tailor and have it sewn into a separate jacket. Also inside is a soft, removable hip armor. The knees carry CE-approved foam pads, which can be adjusted to three different height positions to suit any body.

And like a Model-T Ford, it's available in any color so long as it's black.

Here's another option: the Scorpion Deuce waterproof riding pants.
