National Cycle Fairing On windy days, after a while on the freeway, I notice that my biceps and shoulders get tired. This is the inevitable result of catching a lot of wind on the chest. My arms have to pull back on the handlebars the whole time, just slightly, and I feel like a human sail. A good windshield would solve this, but I don't want a full shield because I need to get airflow through my helmet to prevent fogging on those cold mornings. I also don't like the way full windshields look.

National Cycle's F-Series fairings are the perfect design for anyone looking for a more aerodynamic ride without tacking two square feet of plastic to the front of their bike. Any wind current that comes up across the headlight will be deflected over the instrument panel and away from your center of mass. In a pinch, you can also duck down a bit and get completely under the flow.

The double bubble design relates the National Cycle fairing to its namesake, the F-18 double-engine, fighter jet. A dark tint will unify your front end, tying together everything from the headlight to the handlebars into one smooth structure.

All of National Cycle's F-Series fairings mount directly, so no brackets or extensions are required. Installation is easy, and the F-18 is a sleek alternative to the stock shield or being jerked around by the elements.

If you want to add some dark tint to your headlights, see Rvinyl's Dark Smoked Out cover vinyl.
