When it comes to your ride, the decision between style and storage is not an easy one to make. Not all riders are into the look of saddlebags but at some point or another most everyone could use at least a little storage. That's where MC Enterprises' Deluxe Mini Rear Fender Rack comes in.
Designed for Suzuki's 2001-2004 VL800 Volusia and the 01-04 C50 Boulevard --yet compatible on more models than those -- the compact rack is designed to give you a bit of space to store something without making the bike look like you are about to embark on that transcontinental self-exploration road trip to South America. The minimalist chrome rack isn't really big enough to carry anything other than maybe a sack lunch and a book or two, but sometimes that's all the storage you need.
The mini rack does have a key feature that some racks lack. The simple one-inch lip on the back is key to preventing that bag of groceries from sliding off and become freeway targets for the minivan following too closely behind you.
This is a decent looking rack that isn't too obtrusive and flows nicely with the lines of the bike. It is however a bit lacking in the practicality department as it really does live up to its "mini" namesake.
