The convenience of this model is that the double-wide rear of the sissy bar splits in two so half of it folds down to hold your luggage, groceries, book bag or whatever, while the other half stays in place to remain functioning as a regular sissy bar.
All the hardware you need for installation is included. It bolts right to the side plates and uses a relatively out-of-the-way hinge system to raise and lower the luggage rack portion of the set-up.
