Yuasa Motorcycle Battery Review About the last thing a rider wants to have to buy for a motorcycle is a battery. Think about it -- new tires are always an exciting and satisfying purchase. New riding gear is always interesting. A battery? You can't see it on the bike. It's not a performance item. Boring. Come to think of it, BORING is exactly what you want from a battery. You want it to sit in its little cradle and do its job. When it stops doing its job -- now that's a problem.

Motorcycles are hard on batteries. The batteries are smaller and less durable than their automotive counterparts. Also, motorcycles are typically run less frequently than autos, so their batteries are not charged as consistently. It may be tempting (especially in these tough times) to buy a cheaper, off-brand battery, but you get what you pay for.

Yuasa has been a respected player in the battery market for years. For me, they have been the most trouble-free batteries I have owned. I find that if I keep a Yuasa properly charged, I get several years of reliable service. Since this is a sealed battery, maintenance charging is really all that it requires. In my experience, you will not be disappointed in a Yuasa battery. Boring? Yes. Just the way it should be.
