There's lots of competition in the exhaust systems business these days. Those still in the fray mostly all produce high- quality products, and Two Brothers Racing is right in there with the rest of the best. They build exhaust systems for off-road, street, racing, and even quads.
This package employs the V.A.L.E. system, an invention by Two Brothers Racing that "eliminates the use of springs and creates an adjustable mount that is solid when fixed in place." And which apparently also allows for various silencer inserts. Included is an S-bend pipe to connect directly to your bike's existing stock header-pipes.
M2 refers to the small oval shape of the canister designed for smaller street-bikes, around 600cc or less. The M5 is the large oval for bigger bikes. The M models can be ordered in a round canister shape, as well. All canisters are constructed with a stainless steel core and high-temperature packing material.
Also specific to this package, CF in this case stands for carbon fiber. Other available materials for this same model are aluminum and titanium. The s/o refers to single-out exhaust.
The company claims these are a fast and easy install, and that rejetting is not required. Adding these mufflers will change the note of your exhaust to at least slightly louder, although this is fairly typical when adding any performance-oriented exhaust. You'll also notice a lone $500 bill get brutalized to within a few digits of its demise, but this is not out of the realm of current market prices for exhaust systems.
