The Sigma ORS is made for bigger displacement sport-bike engines with lots of torque and power, as well as to handle the extra weight of larger bikes. You can get it in three sizes: 520, which can handle up to about 135 horsepower; 525, up to around 145 horsepower; and 530, to more than 170 horsepower. Tensile strength is a claimed 10,600 pounds. The chain is nickel-plated and rust resistant, and the wearing parts have been shot-peened and heat-treated to help them last as long as possible.
As with any O-ring chain, lubricant has been injected in and then sealed inside by the O-rings. That's the premise. And this method works very well, except for one big but: sometimes the O-rings tear or come out, and away goes the grease. It's always a good idea to check the chain on a weekly basis, and keep them correctly adjusted, especially on more powerful motorcycles.
Tsubaki also claims this chain has up to 100% more wear resistance and fatigue strength than most drive chains. I don't know what they define as "most," but I'll take it to mean this chain will last a long time.
Tsubakimoto Chain Company was established in 1917, in Japan, and one of their major manufacturing plants is now located in Wheeling, Illinois. They supply chain, sprockets, and power transmission components world wide.
