The Beast Motorcycle Goggles More than half of the adult American population wear glasses, yet those of us who are ocularly challenged seem resigned to wear full face helmets or those stupid straps that hold your glasses on your face. Some of the more creative of my optician-visiting friends have fashioned their own goggles, which usually end up making them look like maniacal WWI pilots. This leads me to a great fondness for The Beast goggles.

Normally I'm a stickler for high quality materials and meticulous manufacturing. As much as the folks at The Beast may protest, the construction of their goggles is not going to impress anyone, but they do fit over many styles of eyeglasses. These are perfect if you, like me, just want something to go over your glasses that will fit snug and not obscure your vision, and they only cost $20.

There are a few features worth mentioning. The polycarbonate lenses are shatterproof, impact resistant, and UV 400, meaning they will protect your peepers from most of the harmful UV rays. The foam padding is low end, but it will help keep out wind. These goggles are vented at the top and bottom to prevent fogging.

If you're just looking to protect you glasses, there are clear lenses, but you can get tinted lenses as well. Don't get me wrong; these are not just for folks who wear glasses. Anyone looking for a really basic cruiser goggle with a classic sort of aviator look will appreciate these. Being someone who wears glasses, however, I appreciate them more.
