Stebel Nautilus Compact Motorcycle AirOf all the aftermarket parts you can hang on your ride, an airhorn is probably your last consideration. But brother, you'll wish you had one when you're dodging a minivan or semitruck that's heading your way at the speed of light while the driver is staring at the soccer team in the back seat or busy trying to light a smoke, doing anything but looking at you.

The average motorcycle horn is not very loud -- around 85db (decibels) if you're lucky. My neighbor's kid can scream louder than that. The Stebel-Nautilus Air Horn will give you some decibel chutzpah, up to db, but not the 139db which is advertised in some places (the Stebel-Nautilus Max goes to 139, but not the Compact).

This airhorn is also nicely plated with a good thick grade of chrome that won't fleck off after your first ride. It truly is compact, measuring 6.2 inches across and weighing 2 pounds. It can easily be installed underneath the casing for your stock horn, or elsewhere in addition to the stock horn -- the chrome is attractive and you can mount it anywhere that works so that your horns sounds simultaneously for a truly "look-at-me" moment. And, for ultimate night-time safety and bling, you can actually buy aftermarket lights and wire them to your horn relay so that the lights come on when you hit your horn.
