Slipstreamer Turbo Windshield

Adjustable Anodized Aluminum

Posted by

Slipstreamer Turbo Windshield When chemists first created a clear, lightweight polymer, they must have had all sorts of crazy ideas about its applications. In white coats, around the bench, they probably conjured a vision of the future where their discovery would change the landscape of our culture. They were right -- but we mostly got cheap, nonbreakable martini glasses and hamster balls.

The windshield may not be the greatest of applications for this shatter-resistant substance, but it can certainly make your ride safer and more comfortable. The Slipstreamer Turbo is shaped to guide the wind around your center of mass and hands. Many windshields push the air away from your body, but the extensions on the sides of the Turbo protect your hands from wind, cold, and impact hazards.

Having a windshield is not just about the air resistance. A friend of mine went up north last weekend and came back wearing a bug-spattered jacket and gloves. Trust me, the Turbo is easier to clean than your fancy riding jacket.

Fully-adjustable anodized aluminum hardware is included with the Turbo. The mounting system is four-point ball and socket with a cushioned headlight seal. The Turbo is made for round headlights only. Slipstreamer has good prices and their customer service is readily available by phone, fax, snail mail, or email.

Here's another Slipstreamer windshield for your consideration.
