Signal Dynamics Tri Star ConversionOn small bikes and many sport-bikes the taillight isn't much, particularly if they've been altered from stock. And if it's good and bright outside, seeing the teeny, tiny red thing that's supposed to pass for a brake light is sometimes difficult.

If your bike has turn signals, here's a device that can put them to a little more use and perhaps give you a better chance of being noticed when you hit the binders. With the Tri-Star conversion module, your turn signals also light up when you apply the brakes. If a turn signal is already on, or you engage a turn signal when the brake is applied, the turn signal will flash like it's supposed to. The Signal Dynamics developers thought this thing through, so there are no ugly surprises.

If your bike has a variable load flasher for your turn signals, you can connect the Tri-Star right up. If not, you'll need to install the included Dual Load Equalizer -- you'll know if this is necessary because after installing the Tri-Star, your turn signals will either blink too fast or not at all.

It comes with full instructions and is fairly easy to install. At 2 1/4" x 1 5/8" it'll fit almost anywhere, although the company does recommend keeping it away from hot parts. Mounts to nearly any surface with VHB (very high bond) tape, also included.

You might also be in need of an LED load equalizer.
