Show Chrome Steel Highway Bar Kit Riders have extolled the functionality of highway bars for as long as I can remember. They're right about all of it too. Those bars will protect your engine if the bike drops or, heaven forbid, crashes. This is of special concern for folks like myself who have a transverse V-twin or for those who have a boxer.
