Roland Sands Venturi Air Cleaner Roland Sands is the son of the founder of Performance Machine. He began his own design venture in 2005, geared toward an emphasis on highly functional style. As a former racer himself, he is committed to creating aftermarket parts that increase performance and/or improve handling, as well as incorporating original and artful design into his works.

The Venturi air cleaner is built to allow maximum airflow into your H-D's EFI or CV and S&S E or G carburetors. The Venturi in the name of this air cleaner stands for air flow acceleration, which is also the intent of the design, although I was unable to find any data to back this up. Still, intrinsic to the design is a K&N air filter, and this alone would noticeably improve an engine's ability to breathe, and thus perform better. Built-in internal crank-case breathers further accent the overall clean look.

Available in chrome or Custom Cut (a trade-marked mid-gloss shade of black anodizing), the Venturi will set you back a few Benjamins. But this is one of those things where, if you gotta have it, money won't be an object.

All mounting hardware and instructions are included. The instructions are also available online, and as there are some very specific alterations for certain model bikes, it behooves one to read through these, first. Ain't it always so?
