If you can imagine an alteration to your motorcycle, someone's probably come up with and is marketing a design alternative from stock to match your imagination. The bolt-on accessories market is huge and competitive, and if you search long enough, you're likely to find precisely what you need in terms of style and performance.
Roland Sands Design caters to this market, and does so with first-class design and machine-work. The Nostalgia Springer headlight relocation bracket is a two-pound piece of stainless steel, nicely curved, fitted, and polished. Its single purpose is to do exactly what its name says: it relocates the headlight on your Springer front-end from up high to down low at a level with the lower shock bracket. In fact, the bracket bolts onto the lower shock bracket by replacing that bolt with an included bolt and washer to fit.
Relocation of the headlight takes mere minutes. You will of course need to take the weight off the front-end of the bike to do this, but a simple floor jack can suffice for that. And it does come with instructions, written enjoyably tongue-in-cheek, but also accurate enough to get the job done.
Fits only Springer front-ends that have a shock.
