Mens Dainese Racing Jacket for SportWhen the discussion of ultra-premium racing gear comes up in sport-bike circles, Dainese will certainly be mentioned early and often. The Dainese Racing Leather Jacket is a new offering by the legendary Italian company. It will cost you, but if you want to ride in a jacket that is among the very top few jackets in terms of quality of construction and protection, this jacket is for you.

Let's start with protection, since that is job one of a performance motorcycle jacket. The armor is composite in construction certified to EN 1621.197. This is the latest European racing standard. In addition to the internal armor, there is a shoulder insert injected with titanium. Back armor is not included, but there is a pocket for G1 and G2 spine protection.

Venting has been well thought out, as would be expected. Air inlets are located on the chest and sides. This system works well with the jacket because it is cut very close to the rider. Racing jackets must be cut this way, and rear vents tend to be rendered ineffective in such a tight cut.

You might be surprised to find that that there is some built-in storage in the Dainese Racing Leather Jacket. There is one internal and two external pockets. It also has a connection system for attachment to pants, and a waist adjustment. It is offered in Euro sizes 44-60. Remember, this is a race-cut jacket and will run small.
