Kryptonite Strong Hold Anchor We've all been at that place in our lives where we travel from rental to rental like hapless vagabonds. If you find yourself living in a crime-ridden neighborhood, there's probably no garage to store the bikes. One of my buddies near Detroit used to keep his little Honda in the living room of his ground-floor apartment. I kid you not, we used to sit on it to watch movies.

Rather than wake up worried in the night, checking to see if your sweet ride is still yours, the Kryptonite Stronghold anchor can give you some piece of mind. A 16 mm carbon-alloy steel shackle attached to a domed base will provide something sturdy to chain your bike to and dissuade theft. I recommend a big chain so it looks intimidating.

Pouring cement every time you move is inconvenient. The Stronghold base is ready to be attached to the ground, a wall, or in a trailer bed. Kryptonite even includes masonry bits to help you put it into cement without having to buy tools. Most landlords won't mind a couple of fillable holes, whereas they might reject a plea to do your own masonry work.

If you want to put the Stronghold in the middle of your driveway, the shackle folds down to leave a smooth surface over which you can walk or drive without damage. Once the Stronghold is in place, you can chain up your bike, your barbeque, or anything else you want to stay put.
