Joe Rocket Meteor Mens Motorcycle BootsJoe Rocket's Meteor boots are some of the best looking, most understated riding boots I've seen in a while. These are full function street or cruiser boots with molded plastic side protection and a reinforced, padded shin panel.

Reflective patches on the heels will give upcoming motorists two more chances to see you on those unlit streets at night. The Meteor boot has a 100% waterproof exterior with a Dry-Tech moisture wicking interior to keep your foot dry and safe from the wetting forces of weather and biology.

All of these features protect your foot, but Joe Rocket knows that you pay good money for your boots and want them to hold up, so the Meteor has a reinforced gear shift panel on the top of the boot. This is a brilliant design, and it makes me wonder why every manufacturer doesn't add these.

Leather construction will hold up against heat and abrasion. The shin panel secures with a loop and hook mechanism so you can take these boots on and off quickly. An adjustable ankle strap tightens the boot down for a perfectly safe fit, and the buckle is metal. Finally, we're getting away from all those cheap, fragile, plastic buckles.

All of these features come in a boot that is incredibly simple in appearance. Stitched black leather and a short heel give these boots a casual style. One scrap of silver on the buckle stands out as functional, but otherwise this is just a great looking boot that wouldn't be unsightly off the bike and is highly engineered for riding conditions.
