Icon Oakley Backpack 2.0 It is impossible to look at this pack and not imagine the functional possibilities. Nothing says utility like a bunch of riveted straps. The Icon 2.0 Backpack by Oakley is one pack that looks as tough as it actually is with variable material paneling and feature-packed portability.

For comfort, the handle is molded rubber. When you have over 3,000 cubic inches of storage space, your pack might get a bit on the heavy side and you'll need that rubber handle. If you're going for the long haul, contoured shoulder straps with poly-wick lining and an adjustable sternum strap will keep you comfortable and reduce pressure spots. Injection-molded PVC provides some rigidity to distribute weight more effectively.

Wearing a pack while riding means that your body is acting as a shock absorber, and you'll feel a poorly fitted pack after about 20 miles. Even if you don't have any points that rub, if the weight is not distributed you'll learn a quick lesson about some back muscles you never knew you had.

Pockets and pouches aplenty give you more than enough room for a weekend trip. A dedicated laptop compartment prevents you from wrapping your computer in an old sweatshirt, and the exterior webbed pockets will give you quick access to snacks or anything else you need on the road.

This is one of the best looking, most robust backpacks I've seen on the market. Unfortunately, you'll be paying for every scrap of comfort and functionality, but if you've ever worn a fully-loaded cheap pack, you'll know that it's well worth the cost.
