Harley-Davidson Super Shield Motorcycle A cover is a nice addition for a bike's overall care and maintenance, even if you keep yours in a garage. But if your motorcycle is often outside, or if you tour frequently, this H-D Super Shield will do a good job of protecting it from those elements of decay. Think of it as a fabric garage.

The outside layer is polyester coated in urethane. These covers are water-resistant, and having owned a few I can tell you this means they'll absorb some water. But the bike won't get wet, just slightly damp where the fabric touches your bike. The seams are double-stitched, taped, and heat sealed -- providing strength as well as further resistance to moisture. A venting system helps prevent condensation from building up.

The inner layer is a soft tricot that won't scuff your paint even in a blustery wind. Down low heat-resistant exhaust panels mean you don't have to wait too long to put the cover on after a ride.

The bottom edge has elastic to enfold your bike, and grommets you can bungee tight and/or use to lock the cover in place. It's available in two sizes, although just the touring version includes hook-and-loop openings for dual antennas.

It comes in black only with a silver Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo in front. And you get a deluxe storage bag as well -- a fabric garage for your fabric garage!
