Harley-Davidson Quick Release This Harley Davidson specific windshield is a nice combination of classic cruiser styling and modern aftermarket convenience. To me, it has a feature that trumps other windshield options.

The styling includes a substantial profile and chrome lateral and vertical support bands. This look fits the timeless lines of the American V-twin. It has a low profile rise at just over 22" of overall height, so the windshield will not dominate the aesthetics of the bike.

The convenience comes in the form of the die-cast lever-release clamps that attach the shield to the bike's fork tubes. When the shield is detached, no hardware is left behind. This is the feature I like the most. The added bonus is that this system does not require tools for removal. Now that is convenience! I have had detachable shields on several motorcycles. However, in every case, some hardware was left on the bike when the shield was off. That always bugged me.

There is no downside to this quick-release windshield. It is in the price ballpark with other good aftermarket shields and has the unique mounting system that I have not seen on other shields. All other things being equal, that lever-release feature would put me over the top in my purchase decision.
