There's a reason your mouth and nose are not on your belly, and it's not because of the aesthetic. For some reason this logic doesn't seem to have sunk in with most bike manufacturers. Fresh, cool air does as much good for your bike as it does for you, so give your machine a way to get to it.
Harley-Davidson's Heavy Breather has a high-flow, forward-facing element which is washable and reusable. Like a dog sticking its nose out the window, the Heavy Breather will lap up the dense, cold air that is coming at you. If you had a belly breather before, this will boost your machine's performance.
Now that your intake is sticking out for all the world to see, you want to be sure it looks good. The Heavy Breather has a chrome-plated elbow and end cap. If you're going for a surreptitious look, you can get it with a gloss black finish. Both are polished to a shine. The end cap is laser-engraved with the Screamin' Eagle logo, which also adorns the rain sock. This rain sock will continue to let air in but the rain will bead off.
