Harley-Davidson Chrome Sport LuggageFashions and fads are very disruptive. When smooth, sleek curved lines are in, you can't find a right angle to save your life. This is difficult when you prefer solid -- dare I say "boxy" -- accessories. Luggage racks these days are predominantly constructed of tubes, so Harley-Davidson made sure to maintain a little variety and give us this flat-top luggage rack.

It's a small rack with a lot of strength built into those right angles. Smaller tube-built racks look suspiciously bendable, but you don't get that impression from this four bar sport rack.

Chrome plated, because that never goes out of style, this rack will weather as well as any part of your bike. The steadfast appearance will complement modern bikes will a touch of contrast to all the curving lines, while the rounded corners keep you from jabbing yourself in the gut while lifting your luggage off of it.

Too many mini racks look like they'd be as happy on a bicycle as they would on a motorcycle. This is not one of that lot. It is ready for a rigid mount or a detachable mount, depending on how frequently you plan to make use of it.

As with all racks, the function is obvious. You use it to carry stuff, mount stuff, or strap stuff down. This is a simple concept. Personally I like the flat top of this sport rack because the more surface area in contact with my 12-pack, the more friction and greater likelihood it won't slide off unexpectedly.
