Of all of the physical discomfort that comes from being caught in a cold rain, I've got to admit that my feet being cold is the worst. I can't stand having cold feet and, if they're cold enough, shifting is agony. Did I mention I live in Michigan?

HeatSoles are not actually meant to heat your feet, but they provide consistent low-grade warmth to prevent the cold from setting in and to help with circulation. Ideally, you won't know they're there. A charged battery pack supplies the juice and will keep your feet at a comfortable temperature for 5 to 7 hours. The battery pack is small and clips to your boot or to a leg strap.

One size fits most and HeatSoles come with a leather cover, so you're not in direct contact with the device. The biggest drawback is that these insoles will cost you over $100. I think the price is a bit much, unless I'm going to have some cozy heat instead of an imperceptible prevention of cold. The technology does not seem so advanced to justify the price, but then again my feet are not cold right now.
