I've been reading a lot of arguments about the meaning of "Hayabusa." The hayabusa is, apparently, a falcon. So it doesn't mean "strong bike," or "heavy slow bike," which would have amused me to no end. The falcon, however, is an insanely fast animal and therefore an appropriate name for a bike.
Hayabusa riders love their bikes with an adoration that rarely adheres to a specific model rather than an overall company. They have a passion for their machines and the associated symbol, which has come to represent more to them than its avian origins suggest. You can find the symbol on clothing and parts, and now Epic Powersports mirror caps.
If you don't feel like you need your mirrors and wish to streamline your machine, mirror caps are the way to go. They look good and rest close to your fairings. The Hayabusa emblem is beautifully outlined in white against the black plate.
A set of these will allow you to keep a manufactured look. Constructed of powder-coated aluminum, these caps won't add back the kind of weight held in the mirrors. Epic Powersports provides these mirror caps in pairs, obviously, and for around $60 depending on where you find them.
Also, here's a fender eliminator kit that's built specifically for Japanese sport bikes.
