Deltran 2-Bank Battery Tender

Bike ATV Charger 12V

Deltran 2-Bank Battery Tender It's spring, and if you haven't already done so, you'll soon be rolling your trusty ride out of the garage, dusting it off, putting the key in, giving the throttle a twist and hopefully not hearing: "click, click, click..."

Where you should be hearing the roar of your engine, maybe a backfire or two, instead you're hearing the sounds of a near-death battery. So you go back to the garage and there on a top shelf just waiting for this moment is your Deltran 2-Bank Battery Tender. With 2 banks this little guy will allow you to tend to the needs of more than one motorcycle or ATV at a time. It's lightweight (3.5 lbs) and easy to move around.

The Battery Tender 2-Bank uses micro-processor technology in a four stage charging profile to charge and balance your battery -- you cannot overcharge it. You can trickle charge your ride overnight or jump it off another vehicle if you need to get going sooner. Keep in mind that this is a standard 12-volt battery and if you are dealing with an older ride, it may have a stock 6-volt battery in it, in which case this tender may be too much.

The Battery Tender is built for safety, with reverse polarity and internal short circuit protection. At about $75, give or take a couple bucks, it's hard to justify not having one around since most motorcycles will, at some point, lose a charge unless they are ridden frequently all year around (and we can't all live in Southern California, kids).

And if you need new battery to charge, take a look at the sealed AGM varieties.
