However, anyone who has ridden a motorcycle for any amount of time has faced the dreaded pant-leg balloon effect. OK, I'm sure this was a bigger problem in the '70s with bellbottoms -- heck, it may have been life-threatening back then! However, there is no way around it; the bent-leg riding position combined with the natural flow of air can make your pant leg ride up uncomfortably and unattractively. Yes, my tongue has been planted firmly in my cheek for most (all) of this review so far. However, I can see this being a nice little accessory for jeans-wearing riders. It seems to be aimed squarely at the cruiser market. Simply put, this is a metal clip that attaches to the bootlaces and clips to the front of the pant leg. It is not overly obtrusive and seems like a nice little solution to an annoying problem. Obviously, you must wear boots with laces for these to work.

After all, if you don't end up liking these for their intended purpose, you can clip one to each ear and carry on in true surfer / biker chic!
