Cobra Light Bar Kit I have hit three deer in my lifetime. Three. I feel especially unlucky where these animals are concerned, but fortunately none of them were hit while I was on my bike. Consequently, they were also all in my parents' car before I was 18. Yeah, they loved that. This has instilled in me a fear of riding in wooded areas at dusk and a desire to have as much forward lighting as possible.

It isn't always an option to ride behind a car in these circumstances, so throwing a couple spotlights on your bike can be great for visibility. Cobra's steel lightbar will help you see what's in front of you and help everyone else see you as well. The bar comes with two pre-installed spotlights for either side of your headlight. Stock turn signals will mount seamlessly to the bar, and the whole assembly will look like your bike was born with it.

This bar bolts to stock clamps and will not get in the way with stock windshields. Some aftermarket shields will also fit, but you'll have to do that research on your own. If you want a more classic look that will bring everything into line, Cobra also sells snap-in visors for your headlight and each of the spotlights.

Triple chrome-plated steel construction makes Cobra's lightbar both sturdy and stunning. You won't need to know any complex electrical schematics for installation, and each bar has a custom fit for each bike. The catch, like so many beautiful products that combine quality and customization, is the price. This is not a rat-bike accessory -- for that, you'll find pipes and clamps at the hardware store for a few dollars.
