There's nothing that ties a cruiser together like freeway bars. They catch the eye no matter what angle you're looking at the bike from. A band of curved, shiny chrome looping around and framing the engine. It's like the bow on the gift, a great finishing touch for any style cruiser.
Cobra's 1.25-inch freeway bars are a great example of a great accessory. The angles are not overly dramatic, and the thick-wall steel is strong enough to protect your engine and foot controls if you drop your bike. I always cringe a little when I see a boxer without bars.
To complete the aesthetic, Cobra's bars are deeply chromed. The chrome is, of course, practical for durability as well as that primal "oh, shiny!" moment. The bars themselves, like all freeway bars, are very useful for an alternative foot rest, or to attach pegs, lights, bags, etc.
Cobra is a company that will take care of their customers, and their accessories are made in America, but they are not cheap. Cobra's price for these bars is around $190. You can find them for sale with some vendors but, if you really can't spare the extra cash, there are cheaper bars out there.
