The Moose Racing Qualifier Jersey is simply a well-made, well-designed dirt jersey. It is not some frilly, gaudy, attention-seeking billboard. It is attractive, understated, and functional. This is a welcome departure from modern MX gear for a lot of us.

The jersey is polyester with sublimated graphics. What does "sublimate" mean? Well, Webster's Dictionary says, (verb) "to divert the expression of (an instinctual desire or impulse) from its unacceptable form to one that is considered more socially or culturally acceptable." Still not sure? Me either. But I like the graphics.

The jersey has an open-sleeve cuff to provide excellent air flow and no restriction in the glove zone. It also features raglan-style sleeves for ease of movement. It has a comfortable V-neck and a generous "American" cut. Hey, I take that personally!

The four color combinations all have black as the main body color. The accent colors are grey, blue, orange, and red. The size offering range is huge, running from small to 5XL (the guy that fits into that last one had better have a BIG dirt-bike). Anyway, this is a great jersey at a great price.

For some reason the expansion chamber on a two-stroke is like a massive magnet for dent-inducing rocks and roots when you're out on the trail. A new pipe isn't cheap, so protecting the one you have it is a good idea, especially when you consider all the abuse the underside of the bike goes through when pounding through the trails.

Moose Racing has long been a player in the world of off-road accessories and bike protection. This baby is their cream of the crop model for all KTM 250 and 300 two-stroke models from 2004-2008. It's made from an ultra-tough combo of carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and high temp resin. Moose promises its carbon fiber is eight times stronger and twice as stiff as aluminum, yet still 1.5 times lighter. That pretty much equates to superior protection without making a sacrifice in the weight department.

Besides the added protection it offers, the carbon fiber pipe guard is pretty slick-looking. It connects via a few hose clamps. If your pipe is chromed, which most of the KTM stock pipes are, be aware that it may scratch up the finish a bit. One other drawback is the price. When the cost of protecting your pipe is virtually the same as replacing it, that makes it rather hard to justify the purchase. If greenbacks are of no concern to you though, and you want the absolute best protection possible, then this pipe guard is worth the dough.

Moose Racing Youth M1 Pants | Motocross Pants

When looking for youth racing gear, you're probably already well aware that anything even worth buying needs to have the same quality of protection and durability that an adult suit does.

Moose Racing made sure to keep that in mind while designing its M1 line for kids. This particular pair of lime green racing pants is no exception.

The material itself is constructed from a lightweight nylon/poly blend with double (and sometimes triple) stitched seams, with extra reinforcement on the seat area for maximum tear prevention.

The legs are pre-curved (for less bunching on the track) and the knee area is slightly oversized to include room for the durable inner knee panels that come with the product.

There are also removable hip pads made out of comfortable, yet protective, foam. Custom waist fitting is easy with an integrated dual-waist cinch strap system. Sounds like all the cool features you have in your own racing gear, right? The kids deserve nothing less.

And they may also need some extra protection from a youth-sized chest protector, like this one from Jafrum.
