Bel Ray Chain Lube, Super Clean Chain lube. It's not glamorous or exciting, but unless you ride a belt or shaft-driven motorcycle, it's a necessary evil. The simple fact is that modern chains and sprockets are expensive. They are also longer lasting than ever -- that is, if you pay them a little attention.

I have tried everything from high viscosity oil to chain wax. The truth is, most modern O-ring-friendly lubes will do the job. Unfortunately, most lubes end up spreading the joy everywhere -- on your swingarm, on your engine cases, on your tire sidewall, and even on your boots.

Bel-Ray Super Clean Chain Lube has its best feature right in its title. Basically, this lube is a heavy chain grease that sprays on white in color and sets up to prevent fly-off. It is the cleanest lube that I have found. It also seems to be an effective lubricant. I have used the stuff for thousands of miles and have noticed no undue chain wear. In fact, I have noticed increased miles between chain adjustments, which is a good sign.

The only potential complaint I can see with Bel-Ray Super Clean lube is the white color. Some riders love the look of their expensive gold chains. This lube will conceal that hue or other fancy chain colors.
