Here's another fairly attractive aftermarket exhaust system for your big twin Harley or Victory machine. It'll also provide a slight boost in horsepower over stock to improve low-end torque and high-end performance. And it'll probably put a little rumble in where there may previously have been but a whisper.
The Road Rage exhaust system begins with a 1-3/4" head-pipe made from 16-gauge steel. The pipes are expanded to 1-7/8" before they get to the collector. This expansion is what improves exhaust flow and increases horsepower. After the collector comes the muffler, available in short (12" muffler) and long (24" muffler) versions, followed by a cleanly machined billet aluminum end-cap. The short or long versions are available in either chrome or black.
The muffler baffles are in a "spiral-core and louvered" configuration, also said to help increase power and reduce noise, and are removable and replaceable.
The kit comes with O2 sensor ports, all necessary hardware, and full-coverage heat-shields (unless otherwise noted). New exhaust gaskets are not included, although it's recommended these be replaced. Installation is fairly straightforward using common tools; you'll likely have more trouble removing the old exhaust than installing the new.
If you're looking for smooth clean lines and a little more snap from your throttle, this could be the system for you.
