The genuine, full-grain leather upper has been redesigned to allow for improved flexibility, while the four-buckle aluminum buckle system features a "memory" that allows it to quickly revert to its previous position. They also sport a rubber gaiter for keeping out the rain.

The safety features are too numerous to mention here. But suffice it to say that they've got an extended inside plate, contoured calf protector, steel heel and sole guards, a "reverse closure" style for additional impact protection, and more. The only way to be safer is not to ride!
