How much riders love their machines is no secret. Without the kind of passion that you find in the motorcycle community, we wouldn't have products like this on the market: the Air Force Blaster motorcycle dryer.
Some folks might argue that the only proper way to dry a bike is to take it for a ride. That might do the job, but you still could have water spots and, worse, might have water clinging to the bits that aren't exposed to the airflow. Some of those places are tucked away and could harbor all of the conditions to start an annoying rust problem. It's not all about looks, after all. It's just mostly about looks.
The Blaster itself is a steel-construction, 4 HP motor that can create an airflow of 29,250 ft/min. Unless you plan to take your bike out for a leisurely 332 mph ride, you won't be getting that kind of drying power.
Bigger than a breadbox, but not by much, the Blaster weights only 8 pounds. A 12-foot cord and a 10-foot hose provide all the distance you'll need to circle your bike and get every nook dry. You don't want to be blowing dirt at your machine, so the Blaster has an easily changeable foam filter.
These are great if you are going to show off your bike, or just want to keep it in the best possible looking (and running) condition. You can't put a price tag on that, but Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Co. tries, and they think it's somewhere around $260.
If you have a preference towards upright vacuums, check out the HOG Blaster.
